You Don’t Need Perfect Credit to Buy a Home

Many would-be homebuyers are sitting on the sidelines because they think their credit score is holding them back. They look at their credit score and assume that buying just isn’t realistic right now. But – you don’t have to have flawless credit to buy a home.

The median credit score for all home buyers last year was 775, but roughly 10% of the home buyers had scores around 660. Having a lower score doesn’t automatically close the door. There are many factors that lenders use, so it’s best to speak with a trusted lender to see what is actually possible.

So, if you, or someone you know has not pursued purchasing a home because they fear their credit is not where it needs to be, it’s time to get help understanding what the options are. The only way to get it figured out is to start the conversation!

I would be happy to connect you with a trustworthy mortgage expert who can guide you through the process. I’m always happy to answer your real estate questions, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
